2019 West Point Special Edition Lincoln Penny: Reverse Proof

A very special collectors coin was issued exclusively with the 2019 US Proof set: the 2019 Reverse Proof Penny from West Point.

Coins with the "W" mint mark have been considered collectors items, a reverse proof penny is particularly interesting.

With a reverse proof, you can get some interesting effects on the coin, like this Lincoln silhouette.

I can also get a "simmering" effect if the lighting is right. Golden ABE!

The Reverse is interesting too. Although it is difficult filming reverse proof.

The "shimmering" shield is pretty nice. Call this one "coppershield".

It was fun photographing this coin and revisiting it. It is a unique coin that would not ever be found in circulation and most have been graded. With a high grade, this could be worth over $100, but after playing with it i'm sure it's not the most pristine example, so it's probably more like $15 - $30. Still, not bad for a penny!!!!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

I wish I was into coins back then as I am now... I would have definitely gotten my hands on one of these.

Yeah, the West Point mint mark is cool. Almost as cool as Carson City (CC) on Morgan Dollars.
