2004 Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commemorative Silver Dollar
The 2004 Lewis and Clark Bicentennial
Another shiny from the collection.
One of my favorites, especially the reverse with the commemorative design that is found on some US nickles. The obverse features Lewis and Clark and the dates 1804 - 1806.
The United States was a very different place 200+ years ago.
Benjamin Turner: God fearer. Rooted in Messiah. Husband of @lturner. Father of SIX (!!!) wonderful children. The guy behind the camera. Blockchain enthusiast.
Bless the Most High!

Where have you been getting these commemorative coins?
This one is pretty!
I'm sure there's a resale market, but I got this direct from the US mint, back in 2004.

Well... That's awesome...
My cousin is on the Golden Dollar coin. She works as the public relations officer of the tribe.
Randy Teton.
Pretty crazy stuff. And kinda normal within our family. Pretty crazy. However it is just what it is.
Thanks for sharing your silver. That's cool!!!
Hey thanks, appreciate your comment. Family engraved on a coin? That doesn't happen every day.
It does all the time when Randy is around.
This one time at the pow wow rodeo she was giving away t-shirts to the crowd and said whoever has a golden dollar gets one...
I of course had one in my medicine pouch. I ran up smiled presented it she looks up and realizes who she's facing... Super big hugs.
Yep Brandy is an amazing person and I am so happy she has a huge amount of success in her life.
My other sister played Sacagawea in the Discovery channel series because Randy was touring the world promoting the golden dollar...
Yep direct tie and family connection. I grew up wanting to be some Lord from Europe or some Japanese Noble... Come to find out that Shoshone are royalty on this continent...
Well I don't want to be anything anymore other than who I am.
Is it this coin?
That's the rear of the 2014 yes.

Doesn't have how randy was chosen to represent the tribe... But yeah.
