Leicester City put their poor league form behind them as they came up against Danish side Randers. The English top-flight emerged as 4-1 victors over their opponents.
Asides from the James Maddison injury, it was all smiles for the foxes. Virtually 10 minutes after his introduction to the game, Cameras panned on James Maddison as he was seen with his back to the turf.
Although the English playmaker was conscious throughout the first aid session, Brendan Rodgers and his coaching crew did not think it wise to let him remain. Hence, he was taken off and replaced with Choudhury.

Highlights on the game:

The game against both teams was quite interesting with lots of goals. For Leicester, their goals were scored by Nigerian Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, Harvey Barnes, Kiernan and Patson Daka. While Randers had a brief equalizer in the game courtesy, Mistrati.
The first leg was played at the King Power stadium, Leicester would now carry on a 3 goal cushion into the second fixture in Denmark.

Highlights on Randers performance:

The Danish super league took a winter break in January as is the normal routine.
However, it seemed to be to their disadvantage as they looked a disjointed bunch through the game.

Summary:

With their solid performance in the first-leg, the foxes can now go to Denmark with the level of confidence needed to seal a victory and progress to the next round.
