A hectic day, indeed. Mice can be terrible, I can imagine that mess in your pantry. I've experienced moments like that too, they are unpleasant.
You're right, not every day has to be a record breaker, the body needs rest too.

It definitely wasn't a medal-worthy day - unless it was for surviving the "Home Armageddon with Rodents in the Background" category. You're right, sometimes you just have to do nothing and call it a success for the day. Thanks for understanding - it's good to know I'm not the only one who sometimes feels like waving the white flag.
