Baptism in Jordan river may be a recreation people like to go when they are rich not only river Jordan .Baptism is not necessity that baptism be held in river Jordan you can be baptized in your locality the question is who will administer you .

You must be not be baptized by just anyhow person

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

That instruction of the LORD to the discipline is very clear.The one who has the ability to teach the word of GOD.The person who can teach you the commandment of GOD is who should baptized you the Bible classify a deacon,bishop,minister to be up to teach the commandment of GOD.

The entire preaching of the LORD you are risking your life if you allow anyhow person to baptize you.
