I have nothing against going to Jordan spending thousands of dollars going to river Jordan you get baptized.

Mark 10:39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

So that was an example of baptism received by our LORD JESUS CHRIST.Baptism is the Washing away of sin according to the Bible it is the period of repentance.

JESUS CHRIST have nothing to repent of her did not commit any sin.

1 Peter 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

So their is no neccessity for JESUS to be baptized.
Baptism is the intention of people to repent.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Baptism is the remission of sin although other people believe is ritual to give a baby name those that are baptized are not given names the baptism received by JESUS is the baptism that Christian should be baptized for all the thirty years he spent with his parents,brethen even to anybody their was no single found in him.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

CHRIST shows christian the way of life we must live.
We he was baptized he his showing example and he said that we must be baptized in the baptism where HE his baptized HE didn't say in the river where HE was baptized HE his telling us the baptism not the place because HE was baptized by JOHN in the river Jordan.it is not only river Jordan that JOHN baptized
