When the Government Won't Let You Use Your Money to Hire a Lawyer

Here is yet one more example of how potentially more important cryptocurrency is compared to fiat. At least in the state of Indiana, state and/or local police can seize money and other property under asset forfeiture from you, never go through with a trial, and if the asset forfeiture is civil you can't easily get legally representation to get your property back from the government.

I've read The Art of War and this would make Sun Tzu proud. The citizens are the enemy of Indiana apparently and at least one state government has made asset forfeiture a tool of tactical warfare.
