Los Frankenstein de la ciencia/The Frankensteins of science

Después del de los años de “oscurantismo” medieval nos mantuvieron alejados del raciocinio científico por más de 500 años impidiendo que “avanzáramos” en materia de todo lo que es ciencia, representando un tiempo perdido para la humanidad centrándonos solamente en el aspecto divino pero con temor y castigo severo.

Sin embargo, la ciencia se abrió paso y con los años esa ansia de conocimiento que se considera en sus inicios como los “años de la luz”, del despertar del conocimiento se ha vuelto competitiva, abusiva, inhumana, en un ansia por encontrar soluciones, hallar respuestas, descubrir nuevas fuentes de conocimientos pero a costos muy elevados. Recientemente ha dado pasos agigantados, pero ¿a qué precio? ¿Qué hace que la ciencia sea más oscura que el mismo oscurantismo donde en nombre de Dios se actuaba y ahora se hace en nombre de la ciencia?, Sera porque, no hay temor de Dios, porque por lo general un científico no cree en un ser omnipotente creador y dador de vida.

Ciertamente, en nombre de la ciencia se han cometido actos tan aborrecibles y abomínales que no tienen nada que envidiarle a la ficción, donde un científico loco, un Doctor Frankenstein ha cruzado la línea de lo “humano” para entrar en el ámbito de lo aberrante.

Respaldando este breve análisis quiero mencionar algunos hechos ESCABROSOS DE FORMA MUY RESUMIDA, por lo que los invito a hacer “click” en el enlace que se encuentra al final de este post por si quieren más detalles, pues lo que escribo a continuación es solo un un ejemplo de que en nombre de la ciencia y auspiciando ese “cientificismo” se realizaron experimentos supuestamente para obtener un “bien mayor” a mano de “personas” que podríamos definir como los frankenstein de la ciencia. Preparen sus estómagos y ajusten su corazón:

1. Johann Conrad Dippel (siglo XVII): Se decía que experimentaba con cadáveres en la creencia de transferir un alma de un cuerpo a otro. Experimentaba con animales muertos y aseguraba haber descubierto un elixir que lo mantendría vivo.

2. Illa Ivánovich Ivanov, (mediados del siglo XIX): Sus estudios se basaron en inseminaciones, creaciones de híbridos animales. Buscó inseminar hembras humanas con esperma de mono. Es necesario recordar que para estos momentos no se sabía nada de genética, por lo que era importante la creación de nuevas especies.

3. Vladímir Démijov: Nacido al principio de siglo XX fue un pionero en trasplantes de órganos. Realizó trasplantes de cabezas de cachorro incluyendo hombros y patas delanteras al cuerpo de pastores alemanes adultos.

4. Sergei Brukhonenko: Científico Ruso-Soviético de la época “stalinista”. En 1940 realizó y grabó experimentos con animales que consistía en decapitar a perros y poner las cabezas en soporte vital.

5. Josef Mengele. Alemania. Siglo 20: En el campo de concentración de Ausbichwitz vio la oportunidad de avanzar en sus estudios sobre herencia genética al experimentar con los prisioneros (victimas) con las que NO SE TUVO NINGÚN TIPO DE CONSIDERACIÓN. Inyectaba el cuerpo de algunos niños con productos químicos para intentar cambiar el color de los ojos para que estos fuera azules, cocer siameses por la espalda para ver su progreso, transfusiones de sangre entre gemelos. Llegó a cambiarles el sexo a los gemelos, y obligó a hermanos a tener relaciones sexuales para estudiar la calidad del resultado. Fue considerado “EL DIABLO EN MEDIO DE SU INFIERNO”.

6. José Delgado. Profesor español del pasado siglo: Su experimento se basó en el control mental con animales y personas mediante estímulos directos al cerebro. Fue parte del proyecto PANDORA.

7. Giovanni Aldani. Físico Polaco de finales del siglo XVIII. Su proyecto científico estaba ligado al galvanismo. Montó un espectáculo científico donde utilizando el cuerpo de un preso que había sido sentenciado a muerte para aplicarle electro-estimulaciones al cadáver. Los observadores describieron que en lo sucesivo el rostro del criminal muerto comenzó a temblar, y los músculos estaban contorsionados de forma espantosa, y uno de sus ojos se abrió, su mano derecha se levantó y apretó en forma de puño, piernas y músculos se pusieron en movimiento.

8. Jhon B. Watson: Experimento en 1920 con un bebé de 9 meses, para un estudio del miedo sometiendo al bebe a varios estímulos basándose en el condicionamiento clásico por medio de estímulos o aprendizajes por asociación. Él bebe fue expuestos a varios estímulos con animales en primer momento pero luego estos estímulos se acompañaron con ruidos fuertes que luego la psique del niño asoció con los animales desarrollando un temor hacia estos.

Al leer todo lo anterior podemos concluir que la ciencia en manos equivocadas es un arma TERRIBLE, pero ¿cómo determinar esas manos? Y más aún, frenarlas puesto que ha encontrado la manera de “descender a los infiernos” de la locura humana ya que se siente ente creador pero para ella hay que destruir para construir al contrario de un verdadero Dios, que crea de la nada.

Al creerse dueña de vidas que a su parecer son meros sacrificios que hay que hacer para lograr un fin, no importa si este sacrificio involucra a uno, unos pocos o centenares de personas.
La ciencia está más allá del bien y del mal pues ella puede crear su propio infierno solo por un pedazo de paraíso que puede ser el simple reconocimiento de un trabajo realizado.
En tal sentido, el egocentrismo de la ciencia le hace sentir que es la única salida, la única posibilidad de conocimiento, por lo tanto el único camino hacia la verdad y única fuente de esperanza. , es allí que nace el “cientificismo”, un coloso que niega libertades, ciega otros tipos de razonamientos, niega la condición humana, la existencia de los seres vivos y de la misma naturaleza.

Dejo a la reflexión las siguientes preguntas a parte de las realizadas en el texto:

After the years of medieval "obscurantism" kept us away from scientific reasoning for more than 500 years preventing us from "advancing" in the matter of all that is science, representing a lost time for humanity focusing only on the divine aspect but with fear and severe punishment. However, science made its way and over the years that craving for knowledge that is considered in its beginnings as the "years of light", of the awakening of knowledge has become competitive, abusive, inhuman, in a craving to find solutions, find answers, discover new sources of knowledge but at very high costs. Recently it has taken giant steps, but at what cost? What makes science darker than the same obscurantism where in the name of God was acted and now it is done in the name of science, it is because, there is no fear of God, because usually a scientist does not believe in an omnipotent being creator and giver of life. Certainly, in the name of science such abhorrent and abominable acts have been committed that have nothing to envy to fiction, where a mad scientist, a Doctor Frankenstein has crossed the line of the "human" to enter the realm of the aberrant.

Backing up this brief analysis I want to mention some facts WRITTEN IN A VERY SUMMARY FORM, so I invite you to "click" on the link at the end of this post in case you want more details, because what I write below is just an example that in the name of science and sponsoring that "scientism" experiments were conducted supposedly to obtain a "greater good" at the hands of "people" that we could define as the Frankensteins of science. Prepare your stomachs and adjust your hearts:

• Johann Conrad Dippel (17th century): He was said to experiment on corpses in the belief of transferring a soul from one body to another. He experimented on dead animals and claimed to have discovered an elixir that would keep him alive.

• Illa Ivanov Ivanov, (mid-19th century): His studies were based on inseminations, creations of animal hybrids. He sought to inseminate human females with monkey sperm. It is necessary to remember that at this time nothing was known about genetics, so the creation of new species was important.

• Vladimir Demijov: Born at the beginning of the 20th century, he was a pioneer in organ transplants. He performed transplants of puppy heads including shoulders and front legs to the bodies of adult German shepherds.

• Sergei Brukhonenko: Russian-Soviet scientist of the "Stalinist" era. In 1940 he performed and recorded animal experiments consisting of decapitating dogs and putting the heads on life support.

• Josef Mengele./ Germany. 20th Century: In the Ausbichwitz concentration camp he saw the opportunity to advance his studies on genetic inheritance by experimenting with prisoners (victims) with whom NO CONSIDERATION WAS TAKEN. He injected the bodies of some children with chemicals to try to change the color of their eyes to blue, cooked Siamese twins in the back to see their progress, blood transfusions between twins. He went so far as to change the sex of twins, and forced siblings to have sex to study the quality of the result. He was considered "THE DEVIL IN THE MIDST OF HIS HELL".
• José Delgado. Spanish professor of the last century: His experiment was based on the mental control with animals and people by means of direct stimuli to the brain. He was part of the PANDORA project.

• Giovanni Aldani. Polish physicist of the end of the XVIII century. His scientific project was linked to galvanism. He set up a scientific show where he used the body of a prisoner who had been sentenced to death to apply electro-stimulations to the corpse. Observers described that opened, his right hand was raised and clenched into a fist, legs and muscles were set in motion.

• Jhon B. Watson: Experiment in 1920 with a 9 months old baby, for a study of fear by subjecting the baby to various stimuli based on classical conditioning by means of stimuli or learning by association. The baby was exposed to various stimuli with animals at first but then these stimuli were accompanied with loud noises that later the child's psyche associated with animals developing a fear towards them.

Reading all of the above we can conclude that science in the wrong hands is a TERRIBLE weapon, but how to determine those hands? And even more, to stop them since it has found the way to "descend to the hells" of human madness since it feels it is a creative entity but for it it is necessary to destroy in order to build, contrary to a true God, who creates from nothing.

She believes she is the owner of lives, which in her opinion are mere sacrifices that must be made to achieve an end, no matter if this sacrifice involves one, a few or hundreds of people.
Science is beyond good and evil because it can create its own hell just for a piece of paradise that may be the simple recognition of a job done.

In this sense, the egocentrism of science makes it feel that it is the only way out, the only possibility of knowledge, therefore the only way to the truth and the only source of hope. It is there that "scientism" is born, a colossus that denies freedoms, blinds other types of reasoning, denies the human condition, the existence of living beings and of nature itself.

I leave for reflection the following questions in addition to those raised in the text:

2. What was the purpose of these experiments?
3. would the famous goat-sucker be an abomination of these?
