Exploring this option is the Binance research and development team, which it happens that the crypto exchange has about 16.5 million Ethereum digital assets staked and it has been valued at $25 billion which is about 14% of the total supply.

Since the merge which happened last year, the smart contract ecosystem system has been busy with a lot of activities and with this development which will draw more investors to it’s self. So with this upgrade coming in few weeks will this trigger a massive sell off, which won’t be healthy for the market price of the digital asset.

From books it seems Binance is not the largest pool of stakeholders of the smart contract, but the fact they are taking an in-depth analysis on how this is going to affect the market and how the market will react to this upgrade is a good initiative.
