Crypto Adoption Takes A New Turn With Binance Partnership With Mastercard

In time past we have seen different partnerships with between the traditional finance and crypto, and the recent one which Binance is in with Mastercard which is making payment cards which are linked to the users account is some innovative and welcoming.

Binance which is known to be the largest cryptocurrency exchange due to it’s market capitalization, it’s bringing this innovative measure to their Brazilian customers as they rank the country as one of their top ten market players in the Latin America continent. Some time ago we saw this same launch in Argentina which is part of their Latin community too, in their publication which writes;
Brazil is an extremely relevant market for Binance and we will continue to invest in new services for local users, as well as contributing to the development of the blockchain and crypto ecosystem in the country.

Payments [are] one of the first and most obvious use cases for crypto, yet adoption has a lot of room to grow. We believe the Binance Card is a significant step in encouraging wider crypto use and global adoption, and the openness of Brazilians to innovation makes the country a great market for this release.

The interesting thing on how the payment cards works it’s that when making purchases your cryptocurrency will be converted to fiat in real time at no cost to you expect a third party is involved. It’s can work on both offline and online payments, which is something I haven’t witnessed before in the crypto space.
