What is the Price Feed, and How does it work?
Always remember there will never be greater than one million HELIOS ever minted, however, the daily distributions of the total supply for delegators are relative to the price in HIVE. As you can see from our original HELIOS inflation distribution model below, the lower the price of HELIOS, the greater the daily distribution when the price is greater than .005 HIVE. What we're going to do is create a rolling cap for calculating the daily distribution, starting at 0.025 and ratcheting up 7% every week!
Basically, the price feed reduces the supply (mint rate) by increasing the token price cap which is used in the internal APR calculation. If you recall the 20% APR for delegators is calculated as follows; {(last day price + current price) /2.}/365, thus the price feed may substitute the price with the price feed constant when the market price drops below the minimum price cap threshold. If the market price is less than the cap, fewer tokens will be minted, leading to continual price appreciation.
Starting November 15th UTC 0:30 to UTC 1:30 the price feed will begin at 0.025 with a weekly 7% increase, with a max cap set at 1 HIVE. The end result of this new price feed structure is designed to increase the price of HELIOS to the moon!

That's great, but getting upvotes after burning Helios is extremely difficult. I considered delegating hive power, but to test it, I burned 100 Helios trying four days in a row without receiving any upvotes. Following that, I sold my Helios token.

Back when you were trying to use our services you must have been on the blacklist or something because you were getting too many downvotes to be eligible. There are no guarantees anyone is going to get upvotes, but everyone that doesn't qualify will get a refund before their HELIOS is burned. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused you.
As you can see, during the time period you were attempting to use helios.voter your posts were being bombarded with downvotes which raised a red flag and you were refunded.
Hmmm. I understand; my posts were undoubtedly receiving downvotes, but not from hivewatchers.
