A stately hall in Cheshire. Colour, chapter 2

The hall is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

That means legally even if you own the property outright it is a criminal offence to undertake certain building works without express written permission from the small town sheriffs in local government.

This includes repairing roofs with a different material, changing windows, or other original fittings inside or out. GET THIS it can even cover garden plants and shrubs and trees.

Is it any wonder places like this become abandoned?

Who needs a fucking cake that big? Whilst the poor starve, the windsors.

They only changed their name in 1917 from the house of saxe coburg and gotha to that of windsor.

I mean come on they couldn't be seen sending their subjects to be slaughtered on the battle fields fighting a war against their german family, who in turn were sending their young to die. could they.

Fucking inbreds.

Citizen not subject.

Film

I am wondering if 'with love from babs" the one with the oversized head from my previous post is the same Barbara Lane of Film Enterprises. She is a costume designer credited with numerous works from 1966 til 2006

Silver dream racer, starring david esssex, a gypsy who was back in the 1970's a pop singer, a favourite of under age girls and spinsters of the parish.

Like his songs, in my opinion, the film was shit.

Let's hit the sheds.

I will never understand how can people leave so many personal stuff behind. Photos, documents and other belongings. It's always heartbreaking to see these.

"heartbreaking" I guess to me I think it is wonderful to glimpse something special something not meant to be seen. It does make you think how caring and loving the family really is.
