The Male Complication : A Freewrite

Boys are very complicated. They have many emotions and thoughts, but they don't always express them in the best way. Boys can be so confusing. I see a lot of girls wishing they were boys, if only they knew what was going on in every boy's head they would be careful what they wish for.

When a guy gets into a fight, he doesn't feel like a hero. He feels like an asshole who got beat up. When he apologizes profusely and promises not to do it again, he's not trying to get out of trouble. He's just hoping that you'll accept his apology so that he can stop feeling bad about himself. It’s not all that bad. There are a lot of things you wish you could do as a boy, but no one ever tells you about. Maybe if they did they would think twice before wishing they were the opposite sex.

Boys have their own problems and they have to deal with it. We are human beings not some super heroes. So if you see a boy looking sad it's because he feels like crap, if you see him smiling or laughing that means he's happy. Boys don't make friends with other boys just because they want to be popular or cool, they do it because they need someone to talk to when no one else understands them.
