Spain WWC Champs

I just woke up in time to see the last 16 minutes of this game, and even in these last few minutes, with England needing a goal, Spain controlled the ball. From all match reports I yave read this was so the whole game except for the first ten minutes.

This actually comes as no surprise to me, having watched both teams play in this tournament Spain were the clear favourites to me. They are better technically and tactically, physically about even, in the only thing I could give England an advantage is the intensity with which they seek a goal, on the other hand this opens up their defense.

All in all I think Spain where the best team, yes they lost 4-0 against Japan, but in a game in which both were already through. After that they were better than the three very athletic rivals they faced, three European top contenders.

Well this ends this World Cup and now I am back to watching European football. As a side note I always bet on these events on the many sites I make coins on and invariably I lose, this time that I had the winner spot on I could not make a single bet because I am in the USA. I can't win a single one
