HIVE Goals 2024

I set my HIVE Power goal for 2023 at 500 HP and reach minnow status. I did not make it, I was short of about 7 HP on December 31. But I did get there last night, so now that that goal is reached I can think of what goals I will set for myself for 2024.

The HIVE ecosystem is vast, and there are more than enough options to set up a lot of goals, But I only am involved in four programs. Hive, of course, LEO, Splinterlands and Rising Star.

Splinterlands is one I have never been able to get ahead in, so I only play sporadically and own very little items there. A few cards and a little currency. So I am not setting goals there, any improvements I have will just be marginal. In Rising Star I only log in, set up two missions a day when I remember to, and am going slowly. So no goals for that one either.

Now I come to LEO. Actually it is very hard for me to get LEO. Last year I already had over 500 LP, and was barely able to get to 700. Taking that into account and trying to be realistic I think I will just go for 1,000 LEO power by year's end. A sufficiently small goal that I think is within my reach. I could go for more, but I have not much knowledge about Crypto or finance, so I know that just on LEO there are probably hundreds with more knowledge than I. My posts would be mainly superfluos, so my goal has to be small.

So that leaves HIVE. At the start of last year I had only about 15 HP and now I have 500. That means last year I managed to make about 480 HIVE as everything I got I powered up. Not a great accomplishment but good enough for me. So this year I will push myself a little harder and will go for 1,200 HP by year's end. That means that somehow I have to come up with 700 HIVE in votes. I do think I can do it. But anyway goals are just made so you have your mind set on something, so I will just go along with it.
