This is is a tree that is relatively common in the north coast of Honduras as well I guess on the Caribbean coast of most countries around here as well as the islands.

It has a fruit that is very juicy and slightly tangy, around here they make a very refreshing juice as well as slicing it into star shaped slices which are mixed with vinegar, salt, cumin or pepper and are served at parties. Quite good actually

The funny thing is in the surrounding countries this fruit is known as Carambola but invHonduras it is called Xhiramelo. In the Bay Islands, where they speak English it is called star apple.
