My Actifit Report Card: October 8 2024a

We had light rain for most of the night but nearly gale strength winds. It finished around six a.m. so I began my walk at the usual hour.

It was still rather cloudy so the sun was not a problem, I also didn't tire much. Then I went to the pool hall. A small pretty girl came in selling tickets for some new lottery company. You buy a ticket she scans it on her phone and you participate in an instant win roulette.

Well I bought a few tickets but my luck, as usual was rotten, out of four tickets I bought I got zero on three spins and half the ticket price in the last one. Rigged? Sure, who trusts a lottery setup? Still someone has to get some of the larger prices, which are really not that large, the largest being 25 times the ticket price.

Of course at five p.m. there is a draw for a prize of about 165.00 USD, but let's be serious I got back about 12 percent of what I spent spinning the roullette and out of sll the people that bought tickets I am going to win the big prize? I should think not, in fact I am not even checking those tickets. I might have been naive to buy them, well the girl was pretty, but I know my limits.

As for my walk, a nice step count and I hardly sweated, hey I even played two pool tables, which as usual I won. I think I have told you I was a top level amateur and I still remember a little.
