Is Freebitco.in the best BTC Faucet around?
I know that faucet posts aren't doing extremely well on this blockchain. Not value wise and not interaction wise. But to all readers and curators, it is a decent post. Regardless of the interest these kinds of post do add value to the blockchain. If it does well SEO wise it could attract new users to Hive. Just wanted to have this written as post intro :)
I do have an account on https://freebitco.in/?r=41852558 for a longer period but I never really dived into it. I was just claiming some free Satoshi from time to time. This week I took some time to probably see at what they do offer and the more I discover, the more impressed I am about the site!
While I do like there url very much; it clearly indicates what you can expect! The website on itself look spammy which is in incorrect impression! I rather have a site which maybe doesn't look so good but what does work. And it works!
Let's see what they do have to offer and how it is set up! Major spoiler I do like it a lot and another tip do read there emails!
The Faucet!
Let's start at the beginning. Freebitco.in does allow you to earn some free BTC each and every hour. How much does depend at the value of BTC and on your luck! Your challenge is simple, just roll the dices. Easy isn't?
On there website this is under "Free BTC".
Currently you can win between 4 and 498119 Sats per hour. But mostly you will win 4 Satoshi. Not only do win some BTC, but you will also get Lottery Tickets and Reward Points. Later more about that.
After each roll, they do want to let you know that you can multiply your winnings!
Multiply your winnings!
Most crypto faucets websites or apps do want to give you the possibility to turn your small amount of Satoshi into a real fortune. Will this could be true, their main reason they do give you the opportunity is because they want it back! But let it be clear, there is no requirement to do so! You can also just pile up your faucet earning. Trying to increase it, can result in a mental breakdown or giving it all back!
Freebitco.in does offer 2 different possibilities.
Rolling the dice
They do call it Hi-Lo, but it is just a dice game. Each roll will result into a number between 1 and 10000.
When you don't change anything and press Hi or Lo, you will bet 1 satoshi with odds of 2. Meaning that if you would win you will get an extra Satoshi. Of course you can choose the odds yourself.
As you can see in the image above, I did set the odds on 2.08. This means that if I do bet Hi, the result should be above 5433 and if I bet Lo the number should be below 4567.
But you also get some rewards for trying to get rich. For each 500 Sats you do wager, you will get an extra lottery ticket and reward point. If you are a big roller, it could more interesting. If you do wager combined (not in one roll) more than 0.005 BTC you will get a Golden Ticket (More about that later).
Betting
Because I am also a sports bettor I do like the addition of betting. On this page they do offer you a number of games to bet on. These aren't only sports but also related to the Value of BTC, FunFair and Ethereum.
You aren't betting against the house but against other Freebitco.in users.
Let's take the upcoming Champions League final as example.
Pick a side who you think will win the Champions league. The users betting on the correct team will share the Prize Pool, which at the moment is 0.219 BTC. Not to shabby I think. After inserting the amount you are willing to wager, the will give you an estimate winning. But this can be different due to the fact that more people can start betting.
Do do also have a time weight multiplier. If you do bet pretty early on the game when it is announced, you will get a bigger part of the prize pool if you bet is on the winning side.
Also in the Betting part of the website you can win Lottery Tickets, Reward points and Golden Tickets.
Premium
This is a service which doesn't attract me but it could be interesting for some of you. Due to the fact that they started a partnership with Funfair, they will offer you some extra's when holding Fun tokens on their site. To make it easy for you, you can purchase them via their website.
The minimum of FunFair tokens which you should hold to profit has been set to 2500. The system is also build in a way that the longer you do hold the tokens, the more interesting it could become.
Part is the deal could result into a cashback on losing bets and more spins at the wheel of fortune!
If I do earn enough BTC via their faucet I maybe tempted to step into this investment, but first the site has to prove that it can keep my long term interest.
Win a Lambo!
I told you I was coming to the Golden Tickets and here we are. If you every wanted to own a Lamborghini, now is your chance.
Don't worry there is no rush. This competition only ends within 146 days. So time enough to see if you can score a Golden Ticket.
As earlier written you can earn golden tickets by placing some bets or rolling the dice on their website. But it can also be won via the Wheel of Fortune.
What I do like is that they will show you how lucky you will have to be to win the Lambo.
And of course they do offer you the possibility to buy the tickets directly. It is up to you if you want to take this or not. I am opting out on this one. I will see if I can earn or win myself a tickets, if not no Worries!
Earn BTC
Do you notice the difference between Earn Free BTC and earn BTC? Will the difference is that this is more or less an investment opportunity. For the moment that you do have 30.000 sats on your wallet; you will earn daily interest on your BTC. At the moment the interest rate has been set to 4% on a yearly basis.
Maybe, very maybe I can earn some daily interest, but a lot of work has to be done. At the moment my account has 1643 SATS, so there is a long way to go! But it is not impossible.
The lottery!
If you are a lucky bird this could be very interesting. I wrote that you do earn lottery tickets with just claiming the hourly BTC faucet and this lottery can make it even more juicy or sweet, whatever you like.
Each week a lottery is held, and all lottery tickets you have earned will be used on the lottery. And the lottery does pay-out big time. What do you think about a first prize of around 0.12 BTC! This is a lot people! To put it like this, this is more BTC then I do have in my crypto portfolio! For some this could be even life changing.
And again I do like their honesty. At the moment I do have a win chance of wopping 0,03%. But again they do want to have some ways to claim their BTC faucet back. You do have the opportunity to purchase lottery tickets. Each ticket does cost you 1 SAT. I could increase my chances by buying some lottery tickets but I am not a lucky bastard, so I will just go with the flow!
Reward points
Here I will explain to you how you can use your reward points. Will you can exchange them for a lot of things, but if you want to exchange them into BTC (which is possible) you will need 100000 of those beauties. With 787 rewards points I do have a long way to go.
Besides BTC you do can exchange them for gift. From electronics up to euhm lottery tickets.
I do try out in swapping some reward points for extra reward points. For 12 reward points; you do get an extra reward point for each hourly FREE BTC roll. So if you know that you will claim the BTC faucet more than 12 time in the upcoming 24 hours, this is a bargain.

I have written multiple times that they are honest with you. So they do have a personal stats page.
Luckily I am in the green. But at least you know what you did!
Wheel of Fortune!
This is the last chapter of this post, but it is an important one. Each day you do get a chance to turn the wheel of fortune. The invite is send in the email they send out daily, so it is important to read it. Reading it is a big word; scrolling down to the bottom of it is enough. Conclusion
I do consider it is a great addition to my crypto faucet portfolio. And it could take a big share in my faucet earning. If you do think that you need lots of lottery ticket to win at the lottery, you are wrong. Last week there were 2 winner who were holding less than 100 tickets, so this could also happen to you! No doubt about it.
I also have to mention that this site is already running for more than 7 years. Curious if they will launch something special when they do turn 8.
It doesn't require a lot of time. Max 5 minutes per day if you only claim the Free BTC. Don't forgot to use the invite for the wheel of fortune each day!

I visit that everyday just to claim some satoshie. I claimed for two years and with the % they give per year and with holding that for a long time and not playing. I've got 0.01 bitcoin and I withdrew them. I also have some referrals there. It's for sure the best ever faucet that's working for years. But, I still read reviews and sometimes they blocked accounts. That's why I didn't want to leave there all what I claimed for so long time ! I keep claiming everyday when I have nothing to do. Maybe 3 - 5 time a day. Otherwise I don't have that much time for that. ☺
It is great to read to your withdrawal went through, gives them again a little more credibility. Always hard to know what the real reason is behind blocked accounts.
I am trying to give it more attention and see where it goes. Penny for penny I guess.

I used to take part in a crypto faucet back in the day. I have no clue what it was called now though. I have a feeling it probably got shut down a long time ago. I wasn't very consistent with it anyway, so I likely never had enough earned to withdraw. I know it was tied to Splinterlands at one point, but like I said, the name escapes me.
