Saka and Greenwood nominated for Kopa trophy

Premier League talents Mason Greenwood and Bukayo Saka are two of the ten nominees for the Kopa Trophy, which is given to the best player of the year under 21 years.

France Football announced the nominees for a number of awards on Friday night. One of them is the Kopa Trophy, which is given to the player under the age of 21 who has played best in the last season.

Here, there are a total of ten nominees, with FC Barcelona's Pedri seen as a favorite for this year's award. In 2020, the prize was not awarded due to Covid-19, however, Matthijs de Ligt most recently ran with the prize in 2019.
