Barcelona interested in city star

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, the fast winger is a coveted man in the Catalan big club, Barcelona. The media writes that Sterling is the club's top priority in the upcoming transfer window in January.

Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele has not been able to live up to his huge price tag since arriving in Barcelona from Dortmund in 2017. The club is therefore interested in selling the French winger before his contract expires next summer. Sterling is thus seen as Dembele's successor.

Sterling himself has previously said that an adventure outside the Premier League sounds appealing and could well be something for him.

The 26-year-old English national team player is listed for 304 games in the light blue Manchester City jersey and has made 115 goals and 89 assists.
