But I don't want to despair, because some people don't manage it at all.

The topic of credit cards should come across as completely normal to everyone, since it's "really" no longer possible without a credit card.
The worst is always the saying:

"Your card will be retained for your safety!".

Who does not know this!?!?
How many times have you seen a person at the counter who then didn't kick the machine with anger?
I remember the discussions when cards were accepted in bulk.
The fears that people would spend more money with them than they would with cash payments were a daily topic of conversation.
Today, no one thinks about that anymore:

Eyes closed... ..and card through!

Of course, this has brought the banks "plenty" of business, hasn't it?
There has to be a winner.
Are credit cards good - or are they bad?
The same question arises with "weapons" - actually no comparison, right?

Aber da will ich mal nicht verzagen, denn manche schaffen es gar nicht.

Das Thema Kreditkarte dürfte jedem als völlig Normal daherkommen, da es ohne Kreditkarte "eigentlich" nicht mehr geht.
Am schlimmsten ist immer der Spruch:

Wer kennt das nicht!?!?
Wie oft hat man schon eine Person am Schalter gesehen, die dann nicht mit Ärger gegen den Automaten getreten hat?
Ich weiß noch um die Diskussionen, als die Karten in der Masse angenommen wurden.
Die Befürchtungen, dass man damit mehr Geld ausgibt als man es bei Bargeldzahlungen macht, waren tägliches Gesprächsthema.
Heute denkt da keiner mehr drüber nach:

Augen zu.. ..und Karte durch!

Das hat den Banken natürlich "reichlich" Geschäft eingebracht, oder?
Einen Gewinner muss es ja geben.
Sind Kreditkarten denn nun gut - oder sind sie schlecht?
Die gleiche Frage taucht ja auch bei "Waffen" auf - eigentlich kein Vergleich, oder?
