Lessons from the Prayer Meeting held on the 28th December 2021 via zoom
I joined the the Prayer Meeting via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching by bro Daniel.
In this video, I shared some of the lessons I learned from the worship service. Watch and be blessed.
Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:
- We have our father in the flesh. Our father in the spirit is different from our father on earth.

- We can call our father in the flesh as father but when it comes to religion practices, we should call no one father.
- The Hebrew calendar started when they left Egypt.

- We should live in reality and not in superstition.
- To live in reality is to live in accordance with the world of God.
My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting
Our former belief and expectation that was improved is that of calling some people father in the Lord. We now know that when it comes to religion practices, We should call no one father. We have only one father which is God.
Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives
Now we know that we should live in reality and not superstition. Now we know that we should not believe in superstitions like fireworks chase away evil spirits and so on.

Matthew 28:20 - we have learned that we are to obey the commandment of the Lord and preach the gospel in all nations until the end comes but who are the main people who will preach, it is in the church of God as it is written
1 Peter 2:9 - God's people have the obligation to preach the gospel that is found in the one body. In this way we can always add our personal reflection and understanding, we can avoid mass quoting the whole verses.
We have to apply this to avoid any conflict from other communities. I hope we understand, God help us.
