Lessons from the Bible Study held on 4th December 2021 via zoom

I joined the the Bible Study via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching of bro Eli.

In this video, I shared some of the lessons I learned from the Bible Study. Watch and be blessed

Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

• Some people say there are lot of errors in the Bible but we should know that Bible is from God and their is no error in the Bible.
• There is no one like God. He is the only God that declare the end from the beginning.
• Jesus does not interfere with the decision of God to when He will come back.
• There is no one like the Father that has the power to declare the end from the beginning.
• It is wrong to say Jesus sits on the Father. God gave the Son a throne which is forever and ever. So the Son I'd God.
• Jesus is sitting on the right hand of the father, not on the father.
• It is only for Christ for whom God prepare eternal throne.
• It is true that the Bible was written by men. It has to be written by men because it will be read by men.
• There was a power guiding those that write the Bible on what to write and what not to write.
• The things that were written were under the the instructions of God to be written and things that were not written were instructions from God not to be written.
• Things that were written were written for the salvation of our soul.
• There are things that we will not understand at the moment and that is why God will not allow everything to be written.
• It was the Holy Spirit that was a guide to those that write the Bible. That was why people like David can write about things to come and people like Moses could write about things that had already happened.
• All the discrepancies in the Bible came as a result of wrong translation and misinterpretation by some Pastors.

My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

  People misinterpret Isaiah 46:9-10 by saying Jesus is not God. We were enlightened and made to understand that God is speaking to the Israelite in that Bible verses telling them that it is only God that has the power to declare the end from the beginning. Which Jesus also attest to in Matthew 24:36.

Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

The study has made us believe more in the Bible because we now know that even though the Bible was written by men, it was inspired by the Holy Spirit and the discrepancies are as a result of wrong translations or misinterpretation.
