Quit Wasting Your Energy

As I boarded a bus on my way to work, two ladies sat at my back, and while I scrolled through my Facebook page to see what's going on, I heard one of the ladies say, I don't want to do it again, because I made mistakes the last time I tried it. I unconsciously turned to see who made that statement and I was surprised to see a mature lady

The statement just couldn't get off my head, and I began to wonder, many of us like that lady, which I am no exception, have delayed or failed to do things because we are trying to avoid making mistakes. We made mistakes the last time, so we don't want to do it for fear of making mistakes again.

I get it, but here is my question, doing the things and making the mistakes that teach and show you your flaws to take correction, which gives you pre-knowledge or not doing it at all which leaves you with no knowledge at all which is preferable?

I guess we all know the answer to that question. For fear of making mistakes, for fear of failure, many of us have shrieked into our shells and don't even want to try out new things because we don't want to make mistakes.

Here is the truth, make a million mistakes, just quit wasting your energy making the same mistakes. Learn from your mistakes and move on with life. That's life for you.

The motivational and inspirational speakers have so preached about mistakes and how to avoid making them which I guess isn't wrong, but I don't think there is any harm in making mistakes because humans most times learn from their mistakes or perhaps from other people's mistakes.

As they say, success and failure walk hand in hand, so any man who wants to be successful would always make mistakes at some point in their life before they get to the top ladder.

The fear of failure has hindered thousands of people from achieving their dreams and stopped millions from taking a step to conquer freedom most especially financial freedom which is the major problem in life.

Who says there is anything wrong with making mistakes, who says one isn't prone to make mistakes, we are human as have the tendency to make mistakes at any point in our lives.

It could be financially, socially, in our relationship, our career, in our marriages, and the rest. It doesn't matter as long as we don't make the same mistakes over and over again. It is a waste of time, energy, and resources.

We are free to make a million mistakes, but we are not free to make the same mistakes over and over again. Quit wasting your energy making the same mistakes. We have to make a decision that we learn from these things. Who says it is wrong to make mistakes, try out new things, don't be afraid to take a step but, just quit making the same mistakes.

Thank you all for always finding time to read through my content, my happiness has no bounds when I see your comment, reblogs, and upvote on my articles. I pray that God bless you all for real.

On a related but separate note...what if what you are doing is not meant for you?

I dagree with the fact that mistakes teach but...is it not possible that the lady might have been having a breakthrough in realising what's not for her.

While I'll never advice anyone to quit their jobs if they do not have options...if they do have a better and more fulfilling option I'll stand by them in their decision.

I get you but I just wanted to leave an impression of what the other side of the coin looks like.
