I'm Going To Become The Next Mad Scientist

Assuming, if someone doesn't surprise me with this gift in the future, I was thinking of using crypto and exchange it for cash to get myself a chemistry set.

In my early life, I was reckless and I didn't discipline myself to behave enough to pay attention in chemistry class. So I decided to return back to the subject and expand more on different concepts. This goes hand-in-hand with me reading more lately, but I figured since I've got this jolt of enthusiasm for science then I may want to invest in it. I've had ideas on what to get.

More books? Boring but essential; There are ways to get references for free and YouTube always can help with basic experiments rendering purchasing books not a priority. A microscope? Doesn't seem like I'll be doing much microscopy yet, but it's a nice purchase for later. A chemistry set? Seems like a more practical thing to acquire; to learn about natural compounds and the elements from things I can find outside. Producing concentrate compounds can allow me to build up a modest reserve of some necessary chemicals.

It may cost around 80$ or more but I'll be more inclined to use it more often while reading as much as I can about safety and byproducts that are produced from different reaction methods.
