Hurricane Idalia On Its Way To Florida

It's that time of year again, we got a hurricane headed straight through parts of central Florida, we got the burgers ready but we just need to buy some beers.

I'm expecting this storm to be relatively tamed with no serious damage in the state (except the coastline). Of course, it is extremely early to make any definitive plans as the storm is still developing South West of Cuba. Until we got more information, I'm just going to prepare for they typical Hurricane Party.

So far the storm should be hitting us as a Category 2 storm, but if it lingers in the Gulf of Mexico, it may get more powerful. That's only if there is a strong enough warm front to power up the hurricane. If we get lucky with a mild cold front then the storm will weaken dramatically.

If you're out here in Florida or in our neighboring states, I hope things go well for you guys during the storm. I'm confident nothing serious will happen, but the world is unpredictable.
