Start of the marathon season

Today I went to Heerenveen for the first speed skating marathon in 1.5 years. Great to be on the ice with a bunch of guys giving it their best. We were with a team of 6 and were able to control most of the race. This resulted in a nice first place for our teammate and a total of 5 spots on the top 15. Not bad! The full stats are here:
