LoH contest #281. Why do I like to work from office.

Hi,

(AI Image)

Before the COVID period, people were used to working from the office. Work‑from‑home culture was not very common before that. Then the COVID‑19 pandemic began and people were forced to work from home. Working from home has many benefits such as saving the money normally spent on transportation to and from the workplace. It also gives you more freedom, as you are not under the constant supervision of your boss. The time you would have spent commuting can be used for yourself. In this way, you save a lot of time and energy.

However, work from home has disadvantages as well. Employers do not provide transport allowances since you are not traveling, which can be a financial loss. Working hours also become less fixed and some people end up working more at home. Children and other family members may disturb you and staying at home all the time can become boring. It may even make you feel lazy. You also use your own resources such as electricity, to complete your tasks.

On the other hand, going to the office has its own benefits. Fortunately, I work in a store. So it is not possible for me to work from home. I love going to my workplace. There, I meet my colleagues and friends. We interact with many customers which means I never get bored. My whole day is filled with conversations and fun. We also celebrate on special occasions. That’s why I love working from the office.

With love from Erica.

Both really has good sides. For introvert people, wfh work really well and perfect for them. I would choose this too if its me as I really hate interacting with people. But good for you, you are enjoying your work outside.

Welcome back to LasseCash.

Yes social interactions is what is important for us humans, not Illuminatis plandemics from the devil.

I am a christlover and this coming week I will be baptized in one of the biggest churges in Copenhagen Denmark, Grundtvigs kirke, its close to where I live and the priest already prepared everything.

I will upvote your commenters on LasseCash side of things.

I am a christlover

Well, you loved monetizing Jesus with your BABYJESUS and JESUS Hive-Engine tokens. But that didn't pump your LasseCash get rich scheme so you abandoned them.

If you weren't as much of a lazy ass about what you pretend to know and actually read about Jesus you'd be including Jesus in your list of "STATIST BALLHEAD" but since you never do anything intellectual beyond watching flat Earth videos you'll never realize that.

I agree with you that while both has advantages, working from home might tend to leave you more distracted by family and home tasks that need doing. My daughter in law does work from home, but since there is only a pet cat and her husband home in the evenings only as he works too, there isn't quite the same type of distractions that might be in place.

Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day! !LADY

There are plenty of pros and cons with either situation. There is a clear financial savings and time savings working from home. I can't bring my Nursing work home with me even as I live a mere 5 kms from my workplace.
Thanks for sharing @erica005

I love that working from office gives ones opportunity to interact with different kinds of people all the time.

Before now, I will choose working from home but since I'm exploring my social life outside the comfort of my home I will choose working from the office.

These is the exact point I was making on my post. I can't work from home because of distractions from my kids and other family members. Thanks for sharing.
