I am not responsible for the climate change.

Hi,

It is evident that climate all over the world has changed drastically since the starting of this century. I have seen the days when air was cleaner and devoid of harmful pollutants, water was pure and drinkable and land was free of plastic waste. There was greenery all around. Alas! Those days have passed. They wont' come again.

Who is reaponsible for it? Off course we are! We have cut trees, we owns vehicles that pollute air, we have industries which produce harmful gases and generate lots of harmful waste. We see plastic waste everywhere. This is because of our lack of responsible behavior. We don't think about other animals, plants and even the people who will occupy this world after we die.

Our greed, laziness, longing for a comfortable life and evil plannings of our leaders have bring us to the world which is full of harmful air, non-potable water and land full of garbage. Floods are the result of excessive rainfall and cutting of trees. Trees help to check floolds but we cut them. They produce oxygen but we cut them. Fate of our next generation is already doomed. I live a simple life. I don't consume a big portion of resources. My carbon foot-print is low. So, I am not responsible for this. People who are living on limited resources are also not responsible for this destruction. Our politicians, industrialists and rich people are more responsible for it. They must take action in order to make our life sustainable.

That's all for the day. Have a bette world.

For fun I googled US Vice President Al Gore's home, the highest official spokesman speaking on behalf of Environmentalism back when Bill Clinton was president. I found that his mansion consumes as much electricity as a small US Town, there are no solar panels on his mansion. At least owns 6 large gas powered vehicles. He always had available two private jets and I doubt that he recycles. He was supposed to be an example for a sustainable earth but turned out a hypocrite.

Meanwhile, I conserve power, drive an electric vehicle, recycle religiously, buy mostly used clothing, compost food scraps back into my vegetable garden and then some. I detest our so-called leaders that tell me how to take care of my environment when they clearly don't care.
