“Live for each second without hesitation" — Elton John

I have started this competition in the hope that this will prove to be a fun and interesting way to get people to interact and engage with each other here on #proofofbrain

It could be about anything really. Ranging from a memorable quote to a story or maybe just a random question about life itself. Literally any subject is open for discussion but I will try and not let it get too weird !

You are also welcome to talk about any other subject you like.

To enter the competition you simply have to make any type of comment on this post and I will do a daily random draw for 3 lucky winners.

RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs

Say hi to your wife for me 😌👋, I'm sure she came back with a lot of love.

Well I don't think I fancy being a small fish in a big pond because it'll take a lot of time to navigate around the pond.

Then also I don't fancy being a big fish in a small pond because then I'll get bored since the pond can't contain me.

I'll settle for being a perfectly sized fish in a big pond, it'll be a lot of fun

Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?

let me sight an example of been a big fish in a small pond.

when my cousin brother was in this small high school, he was the best in his class everyone looked up to him, always having the best score in all of his subjects no one is really competing with him because other kids in his school were not really working hard enough. He always feels on top hence no need for growth. He was a big fish in a small pond.

Then it happens he was moved by his parents to a more bigger school with more competing and very hard working class mates suddenly he realize that his no long a big fish, he had to work harder learn from his other class mates in other to meet ups, he was challenged to learn more and grow.

So back to your question: Is better for me to be a small fish in a big ocean than been a big fish in a small pond.

With that I wont see myself that I have arrive but work harder , learn from other fish and grow not limited by my small pond.

You win for the most random contest @elitemoonshiner,

distracted as my wife returned home today after 6 weeks

Being "distracted" is a cool way to describe the welcome home ceremony.

Is it better to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?

If you are speaking biologically the answer is too obvious. A big fish in a small pond will soon die. A small fish in a big pond will find competition and dangers but will always have a place to hide and always room to grow.

If you are speaking financially or socially then perhaps it may seem more fun to be a big fish in a small pond. You can throw your weight around and get things done locally. The problem is that when there is trouble in the small pond you are the first to be blamed and you are the first to be caught and fried.

It seems then it is better to be a small fish in a big fish pond. At least you can swim away and no one will notice you. It is easy to blend in with new environments and just keep swimming...

How about on social media?

This is the eye opening question. Hive is a tiny pond compared to the huge ocean of Centralized social media. Would you rather be a whale on Hive or a minnow on youtube???... That question is not fair because it is comparing apples and Daphne fruits. A better question is, "Would you rather be a small dolphin on Hive or the biggest whale on Proofofbrain?"

Being the biggest whale has too many responsibilities. I kind of enjoy just swimming around and not being noticed. I'll take the third biggest whale position^^

Being a small fish in a big pond would be better than being a big fish in a small pond. A big fish in a small pond will most likely not survive long and even if it does it won't grow to its full potential because its growth would be limited by its environment.

However a small fish in a big pond might find it hard in the beginning but as time goes on it will find it way around and since it's in an enabling environment it may end up growing that naturally expected.

But according to what she as said above,I will love to twist it a little bit ,by saying it is very important that we should be productive irrespective of how big or small we are, productivity does not need to do with size or level atbm times, but it deal with our desire to be the best and to communicate impact on daily basis, that is why to me being a big fish or small one is always been well useful irrespective of the size
