Random Thought of the Day - Daily Contest #33 - Toughest Decision Time !

Hey folks. How is everyone doing.

Today's #rtotd is a three part question !!

  1. What’s the toughest decision you made today?

  2. What’s the toughest decision you made this year?

  3. What’s the toughest decision you ever made?

Quote of the Day

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." - Aristotle

I have started this competition in the hope that this will prove to be a fun and interesting way to get people to interact and engage with each other here on #proofofbrain

It could be about anything really. Ranging from a memorable quote to a story or maybe just a random question about life itself. Literally any subject is open for discussion but I will try and not let it get too weird !

You are also welcome to talk about any other subject you like.

To enter the competition you simply have to make any type of comment on this post and I will do a daily random draw for 3 lucky winners.

You are not required to Upvote, Re-Blog or Follow but it would be nice.

Prizes

1st Place = 5 POB + 1 Upvote
2nd Place = 1 POB + 1 Upvote
3rd Place = 0.50 POB + 1 Upvote

Congratulations To Yesterdays Winners

1st Place - @merit.ahama
2nd Place - @plint
3rd Place - @pthker2010

I use https://www.random.org/ to pick the winner with TRUE RANDOMNESS !!

RANDOM.ORG offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. The randomness comes from atmospheric noise, which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random number algorithms typically used in computer programs

Thanks for reading. #rtotd

Peace, Graham.

What’s the toughest decision you made today?

Uff. Very difficult! Getting out of bed! What provoked me and what I wanted was to stay there, lying down...but no way, it was not possible. It was a terrible decision! 😋

What’s the toughest decision you made this year?

So far this year, the hardest thing has been deciding whether or not to apply for a vacant position in the organization. It was very tempting, but there were some nuances that were not to my liking. So I decided not to do it. So far I have no regrets.

What’s the toughest decision you ever made?

Ahhh, I couldn't say it clearly. I have had to make very difficult decisions throughout my life...I think we will never be exempt from that. The important thing is to be aware that every decision has consequences and pleasant or not, they will only be our responsibility.

Oh, I felt like a beauty queen answering questions from the Miss Universe jury.🤣😂

You should have stayed in bed. You're gonna need your beauty sleep for the pageant.

Thanks a lot and good (very early) morning to you! I like this three part question!

  1. My toughest decision today was waking up. It was 6.30 when I realized I wasn't going to get any more sleep. My partner is still in a coma next to me, makes it even harder to wake up!
  2. Hardest decision this year was quitting my job to go find another one. My past job had been toxic and giving me loads of stress for a while, but it's hard to give up securities and leaving my colleagues and team after years of working together. I'm really happy with my new job, but it also means moving to a part of the country I don't know at all (I have only been 3 times, twice for the interview and once to get a house haha) so it will be an exciting adventure!
3 toughest decision ever: I think getting out of my previous relationship was the toughest. We were together a lot of years, lived together and pictured the future together. But at some point we made each other miserable. We carried on trying to fix it for another 6 months but those were some of the most unhappy month of our lives. It was really tough to decide to call it quits, but very happy we did as I think we are both a lot happier for it and I've found a new partner with whom I am a lot more happy. The time after the breakup was brutal though, you feel like you're mourning....

Anyway those are mine, really looking forward to seeing the rest of your responses!

You should have stayed in bed also. Breaking up is big stuff. Sometimes Humpty Dumpty just can't put all the pieces back together again.

Sunday's are a no brainer.

Should I sit outside and have a drink or stay in the air conditioning?

In this year 2021 the biggest decision was to turn down a three day gig. It was an overnight thing. I thought staying with my family this summer was more important than money.

The biggest decision in my life was to marry. After 21 years I am sure this was the right choice. There is no other way.

  1. to go training or take the easy option and just have a relaxed sunday morning, did the right thing though :-)

  2. that's a tough one, I think starting another business as it will take a lot of time

  3. hmmmm to spend 10$ on the splinterland spellbook? :-P Best decision I made anyways hehe

other hard decisions are social, many people to see and enjoy time with but gotta make decisions at some point. Who to share your life with isn't always easy to figure out

Haha I imagine, so now you're getting loads of sps or did you take it out of the game? It's a great profit from 10$ though, I don't have a single plot.. too bad :-P

yeah i had to withdraw most of it for food and stuff..haven't had any cash for weeks and just managed to setup a wirex account that lets me take out crypto in real money at a cash machine..!

I did buy 10000 DEC so i would still receive the same amount of SPS daily...1 plot of land was worth 10000 points.

I have one more i am tempted to sell but it it may be more profitable holding on to it for now if i can...

Ahh that's rough, hope the pob serves you well and sps helps out too. Yeah it's a tough decision, right now it seems like it's crazy expensive but it could very well climb much more in the long term. I think I would personally hold on to it indeed.

That's the hard part! Looking forward to the point where my renting out exceeds my rentals. Or a point where I don't need to rent anymore myself. But for now it works really well

Yeah I was quite lucky as I discovered renting cards just before the prices shot up so I had got about $4000 worth of cards rented for pennies. Not so cheap now though.

I believe DEC will get to at least $0.01 pretty soon also, probably more.!

This is a very big and let me make it a quick one too,lot of decision as been make this year, but let me say my toughest decision made today as at when I see this is going to church today which have done already, cause have been away from church for a year now .

To then the the toughest decision made this year is too stop taking acohol, which have been working towards always and also trying to avoid friend that do that, especially I keep on reminding myself it danger always anything I want to fall for it and it as been tough especially when you are once an addict.

My toughest decision ever to me it is yet to come, but I want to say achieving my goals as topped not all and hopefully it as been coming good, cause I have imputed lot of time and determination to make sure that I get all what I have listed in life.so I been putting lot of consistent and maintaining high level of discipline help me come out fine and good.
