A Bee-utiful Day! 🐝…………..My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2025

Hey everybody! 😁 If you read yesterday’s post, you know I went to the nursery to spend those flower dollars I’d accumulated. I purchased the bee themed 17 ounce coffee mug that came with a lid! The box it came in was very nice as well! I’ve been purchasing bee themed dinnerware this summer as well. I like bees-what can I say?! 😁

Today, we went first to church and then to the church picnic directly following the service. There’s always a corn hole tournament as well as a water slide for the kids and tons of food! It’s held at the Wiggins barn across from Riverside Park and within sight of the location for our new church building!

The barn used to be part of a dairy operation for the Wiggins’ but nowadays, it’s a venue for weddings and gatherings like the picnic. It’s a good sized barn as you can see from this next picture.

It was supposed to be mostly sunny but wouldn’t you know it-mother nature played a trick on us and opened up the heavens for a good downpour! It lasted about 20 minutes and nobody seemed to mind. These guys though, came up with a couple of make shift umbrellas, lol! ☔️🤣

Who knows?! Maybe they’ve started a new trend in umbrellas!🌂

With the river being in close proximity, what better time than to head on over for a baptism!

We headed back and the picnic was at an end. It was a good day! 😎

Going back to the barn…..there were a few critters around…..

Don’t worry-there was a safety rail you might not notice in the picture.

All in all, a great way to spend a Sunday! 😇
