They are very dense in population here, but often they become the victim of cars at night. They sort of freeze when the headlights pick them up and sometimes it's impossible to miss hitting them. It also could be in some cases, people who enjoy hitting them. That is sick and sad, really.

My little guy can hang out here if he likes!
