I agree! It makes me so mad! Today, when out watering my flowers, A fully loaded logging truck went by with another soon afterwards, and I honestly thought about running out in front of them and not moving out of the way! That's too dangerous, really as it's downhill, so they'd likely have trouble stopping. Nonetheless, it makes me mad. Anyone have any sturdy nails?

Thank you @benthomaswwd! Unfortunately, they just today, mowed down the other 40 acres, now for a total of 80-ish, and my hubby tells me they've gone across a driveway of a neighbor and have started on that side to the valley below! Our road is not going to be the same for both the human inhabitants as well as the wildlife! They've disturbed a huge portion of the tree canopy and the area where it isn't broken is shrinking. Again, I understand lumber is needed, but seriously?!
I wouldn't do anything rash......just thinking about it makes me feel a little better. In the end, there is absolutely nothing we can do, and now, if they sell the land, with the views that have been uncovered, they will be multi million dollar homes, which in turns raises our property values. The problem with that, is, it will raise our property taxes which are already out of control! It's a vicious cycle!
