Plans For The Day?……My Actifit Report Card: May 26 2026

Hey everybody! Hope you’ve had a lovely day!

Normally on Tuesdays, I go to ladies Bible study. Today I made plans to go to the Department of Licensing with @silvertop to walk-in to renew his license as it expires next month. Suffice it to say that was NOT in the cards!

We got there just shortly after they opened, but soon learned they ‘don’t do walk-in’s’. You could try going to Mt. Vernon, some additional 30+ miles away. 🙄

So we headed to the Walmart parking lot to decide whether or not to make the trip. We decided to go and arrived around 10:30. THEY took walk-ins! Yippee-except we had to wait……and wait……and wait at which point I was ready for a nap, lol! I don’t do well sitting and not moving! Finally, they called his number! Less than ten minutes later and $177 poorer, we had a new paper license with the real one to be mailed.

By the time we got back to Bellingham, I was low on gas, so a quick trip to the Costco gas station to fill up. We also needed coffee so off to Lynden to get some.

A little birdie was going in and out of the front grills of parked cars. My guess-to pick from the smorgasbord of dead bugs 🐛 lying around! 😝

Once home, there were plenty of morning chores to be done that had been put on hold because of this escapade. On one trip outside, I discovered my rose bush I’ve been watching is going to bloom!

Fingers crossed the deer don’t find it this time!

That’s gonna be it for today. Tomorrow is work and it’s going to be a busy day and rest of the week for me. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏
