A Bee-u-tiful Day! 🐝…….My Actifit Report Card: April 19 2026

See this little guy? He was so busy yesterday at the garden center at Walmart! Look at the pollen on his legs! A very busy little bee indeed! Here’s another shot of his very important work. 🐝

Our morning began at church with an awesome worship time and sermon. Such a blessing to attend at Valley Church!

Once home, some house chores needed doing. Once those were out of the way, @silvertop went on to split some firewood while I did some outdoor gardening.

You’ve seen this before, however I added more marigolds, a small wind chime along with a metal garden decoration and a small colorful bird bath.

The Aspen trees are beginning to bud their first quakies however it’s nearly impossible to discern them in the picture.

I mentioned the violas I rescued from Home Depot in yesterday’s post. The are the purple ones-I happened to have the yellow ones already.

These next ones are some petunias I picked up yesterday at Walmart. Once they become fuller, I’ll take a better picture to share. I have 2 pots - one on each side of the front door. They should be very pretty once they fill out some.

Going back up by where I park my car, I planted this which I got a couple weeks ago at Easter.

I am looking for a good but safe spot to plant the beautiful dahlia I have I just asked Alexa if deer like them and of course, they do! 😳 Guess I’ll be planting that in my fenced garden area for safe keeping! 😏

I usually get at least one geranium, but thus far have yet to purchase it. Take a look at these beauties!

I’ve noticed this year that most everywhere is selling either large bulk trays ( around $30 😳) or big planted arrangements costing that much or more. It’s like there’s a conspiracy to not sell individual plant packs, which made it better affordable to make your own creations.

That’s gonna be it for now. Tomorrow sees me heading up the hill to visit my friend who recently lost her husband.
