Flamingo 🦩 Tuesday!……. My Actifit Report Card: April 14 2026

Well, just in case you might have thought otherwise, this is NOT a pink flamingo! Although, the girl’s hair is of a shade that one might think she could be. This gal was just enjoying her dog and the peacefulness of the river the other day

My day started unfortunately at work this morning. My coworker was without internet yesterday. She let me know yesterday morning. I told her to give it about 10 minutes and refresh the computer. Then I told her if it didn’t come back by noon to call me. She waited until 5:01-just after closing, to text me and let me know it never came back!🙄 Not sure why she didn’t call me, but I texted her back and told her I had ladies Bible study tomorrow (Tuesday) morning and I would go early and stop by the clinic to see what was going on.

This morning, once I got there, the first thing I did was to check if it’d come back. With the construction on the side street close to the clinic, it was very possible that they had maybe severed a line or so. Nonetheless, it was still out. I then unplugged the modem waiting about 20+ seconds, and then plugged it back in. After a few minutes, it was up and running. I’ve talked to her about how to do this before. I’ve even gone and showed her how to do it. With her not reaching back out to me yesterday, I presumed all was well. Why on earth didn’t she call? I don’t get it!

Anyway, I left her a note letting her know it was a simple fix. I also let her know I’d be in town at Bible study until 12:30-ish, and to call me if she needed anything. I didn’t hear back from her. 😏

Bible study was great and afterwards, before I went to the post office for the clinic, I texted @silvertop to see if he wanted to go to Lynden as I needed lettuce and tomatoes as well as gas for the car. After coffees, we headed over to Safeway. I spied the cutest pot with a plant in it-perfect for the clinic, so I popped it into the cart. I’ll share tomorrow. 😁 I was looking around the floral department and spied these:

A whole display of stuffed pink flamingos in pink ballerina tutus! Not just a few, but two whole rows of them!🦩

That got me to thinking-I wonder if I have any pictures of flamingos? Some unusual places for sure! Enjoy!

Tomorrow sees me at the beginning of my workweek. It’s sure to be a busy one!

Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. He was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper to ask, “Lord, who is going to betray You?” When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?”
Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you? You follow Me!” Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. However, Jesus did not say that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I return, what is that to you?”
This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who has written them down. And we know that his testimony is true.
There are many more things that Jesus did. If all of them were written down, I suppose that not even the world itself would have space for the books that would be written.
