I Can See For Miles!…….My Actifit Report Card: March 25 2026

Today was my Monday which is always difficult. I go in to finding new problems put on my desk, any work not finished from last week, tons of insurance to verify, organizing to get ready for the patients and the day’s work, and in the case of today, putting stuff back we picked up because it looked like it was going to flood last week!

Fortunately I was able to manage it all and was ready for the day at opening. We were booked solid as usual. We had one no show and then the last patient of the day arrived 10 minutes before we were due to close. The doc had left as they hadn’t shown, so we rescheduled them for tomorrow. We’ll see whether or not the gal makes that appointment on time. 🙄

I know things happen, but they’d called say they were a couple minutes away when in fact, that wasn’t the case at all!

I was just thankful that I was going to get out of there within 15 minutes of close. With the type of benefits she has, I could have been there up to an hour or more after the 5 PM close!

Tomorrow is a fully booked day with even the doc’s lunch hour consumed by the tardy patient from today. The good news is he’s not here Friday, so I’ll have some much needed downtime to work on tasks that need doing.

BSB Romans 2:1-6

And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each one according to his deeds.”
