Is It Spring Yet? 🧐…….. My Actifit Report Card: March 11 2026

Well….we didn’t get any snow, but my friend @kerrislravenhill surely did! ❄️ Though we didn’t get any of the white stuff, we do have a windstorm going on so it feels pretty cold no matter where you’re at! 🥶

I thought I’d look in the archives for some spring-like pictures, so if you’re longing for or waiting on spring, these just might offer some refreshment for you.

That first picture is of Trillium-a sure sign of spring in the forest here!

Lilacs might be considered springtime near Easter. They always smell so good! At the trailhead, there are several colors to stick your nose in as you hike by. Be careful of the bees 🐝 though!

We have a for tree just up the road from us that hosts a beautiful wisteria vine. When it blooms , the tree is just full of the purple color! A utility pole is also involved with that vine.

I’m not sure what flower this is as my plant app did not get it right. However, it’s purple and that’s good enough for me! 😁

Dahlias are so pretty but at least here, they seem to require more work than I have time for, for now. I don’t know if in other areas of the country whether or not the tubers have to be dug up each fall. Maybe someday when I retire.

Work today was crazy busy-so much so my lunch remains in the fridge at work. At least I don’t have to pack one for tomorrow, lol!

Of course, who doesn’t love the siting of a butterfly in springtime!
