Sunny Day! 🌞………My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2026

It was a beautiful and sunny day here in my neck of the woods! We headed for church. Our regular pastor, Kyle and his wife Rachel were not there today. The youth and discipleship pastor was heading up the sermon and instead of Rachel leading worship, we had a visiting worship leader. Pastor Caleb does a wonderful job as he too is on fire like Pastor Kyle is. He’s also a bit funny as he gets excited to preach. We chuckled several times as his enthusiasm was great!

Once home, it was time for some laundry and indoor gardening. I have these Hawaiian spider plants that just go crazy! So, I cut the babies off and planted them. I gained 4 new pots ( I could have gained more, lol) so any room I might have made got taken up by the new. I also successfully transplanted a Bird of Paradise that was growing sideways in the greenhouse as it had gotten too tall for it to remain in there. I need another greenhouse,lol!

These last few pictures are of Giant Snake Grass, which is a sure sign of spring. These babies will grow upwards of 2’ high and up to an inch plus in diameter. They are quite impressive!

I found this on the hike this afternoon. Upon closer inspection, it might have been some kind of puffball type ‘shroom. Very vibrant!

Tomorrow, I’m headed up the valley to higher ground to visit an old friend of mine. She lost her husband this past November and is needing some company. I’m looking forward to the visit and am hoping I can brighten her day just a little.

That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.
