Merry Christmas Eve! 🎄😇………..My Actifit Report Card: December 24 2025

It’s Christmas Eve here, although in some places in the world, it’s already Christmas Day. Some have snow; some rain; some dry and cold, and others warm and tropical. Nonetheless, I am sure everyone is thankful for the birth of our Savior!

We headed to town mid afternoon for a coffee date and lunch, compliments of Bill, Agi and Olivia as they gave us a Starbucks gift card for Christmas. Before going home, we went to Safeway where these first pictures are from. They always have such lovely flowers and merchandise in their floral department, however you need deep pockets to buy anything! 😏

Once done picking up a few items, we headed for home via some side streets in Lynden decked out for the season.

That’s just a small sampling of what’s there.

Tonight and tomorrow will be a quiet Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with just @silvertop and myself since Saturday past was our family gathering. It’s been a number of years since we’ve been on our own, just the two of us for Christmas. 🎄🎅 When it was this way in the past, we opened gifts on Christmas Eve.

NKJV Matthew 1:18-25

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS.
