Ready-Set-Go!………My Actifit Report Card: December 16 2025

It’s Christmas time and most of my pictures of not all, will reflect a Christmas in the past.

Tomorrow is the first real day of business since the flood last Wednesday. We’ve been open for the past 2 days, however, there wasn’t really any business to be had. Even the phone barely rang.

Today was about the same although the phone did ring more. I had an interesting onslaught of phone calls complaining of swollen eyelids. I’m wondering if it’s river water contamination-people touching things, whether through liquid or simply by touching their car door and then rubbing their eyes.

We are overbooked tomorrow, so it’s going to be a busy day! Conditions are still wet and there is an underlying unpleasant odor about the place. It’s better with the doors open but it’s colder that way too! 🥶 I guess I’d rather be cold than breathing stale, humid air that stinks. Probably not healthy either!

I did get leftover orders from last week done; all insurance ready for tomorrow; all incoming jobs processed and ready to be called; dealt with tons of emails; checked on the charts drying upstairs, and dealt with the phone as well. Yana also had her hands full as she went upstairs and rearranged all those drying files to try to get more opened up. She cleaned the bathroom as well as sanitized the bottled water that was sealed but the outside of the bottles got wet. We had a busy day!

I’m tired and will be extremely glad when the workweek is finished.

Tomorrow will be a long day!

This next picture always makes me smile. At church, we have a ridiculous number of guys named Kyle-including our pastor. At Christmas, they serenade (if you can call it that!) the congregation with Christmas carols. It’s quite funny as generally, they aren’t in tune, lol! I’m looking forward to this year’s version.

Well, I’ve got some Christmas presents to wrap.
