December-Already?!………My Actifit Report Card: December 1 2025

As you can see by the Jolly Santa countdown calendar, it is indeed December! What’s more is that Christmas is just a mere 24 days away! However, let’s not get so tangled up in the marketing of it so much as remembering the reason for the season! 🙏😇

It’s also Monday and whereas a lot of folks don’t like it- I don’t mind too awful much.

It began raining again, so I headed out to the car to replace the worn windshield wipers. For the car last year, we were in dire straits as both wipers were falling apart and unusable and it was snowing to boot! 🙀 That left us no option but to blindly drive down to the O’Reilly’s in Everson and spend $60 on replacements! I began this year when the rains started, to shop for new ones, but still didn’t appreciate the cost of around $30+. So, I looked on Amazon; found a set ( one is 28” and the other 14”) for $14.95. The reviews were good, so I ordered them. Upon opening the box, they were nicely packaged and had a simple and similar mounting mechanism as the old super expensive ones did. I put both on is less than 5 minutes! Awesome and they are wonderful! So quiet! 😎

I needed to take the coffee I roasted yesterday to the post office. Then, I was dangerously low on coconut milk for my coffees and the local Everson Market does not carry it. Interesting 🧐…..

Anyway, the sent us to Lynden where we stopped before heading to Safeway…… you guessed it……..

Tasty as usual! Onward to Safeway! I love poinsettias, even though I’ve yet to keep one alive much past January. 😏 Safeway had plenty of them, however just the little 4” pot was $6.99. Seemed a little expensive to me.

Of course they had plenty of cute decorations like this penguin.

Oh-and speaking of expensive……@silversaver, I know last year @silvertop had a conversation with you about the cost of these guys….

The only saving grace is that they stayed the same price from last year to this. Unless of course, this was a sale price! 🙀 Crazy!

Once home and unloaded, I continued working on granddaughter Olivia’s Christmas gift that I’m creating. Then it was a turn at the stationary bike.
