Where’s The Fire?!🔥………..My Actifit Report Card: November 22 2025

….why, in the valley, of course!

Last night was our church’s , Valley Church, annual Thanksgiving community dinner! Lots of folks who attend the church volunteered to cook dishes from turkeys, hams, side dishes like mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole (my dish) and a multitude of desserts!

At 6 PM, Pastor Kyle welcomed everyone and led the prayer prior to the food being served.

Then the line up began!

The food was plentiful and hot and delicious! We sat with our friend Charlie while his wife was helping to serve the food.

While we were sitting, Pastor Kyle stopped by to chat.

As we were eating, I took a look around to see that the line had formed all the way beyond where Pastor Kyle had been standing when he welcomed everyone! It was a seriously packed house! It soon became apparent that seats would be needed so those in line had a place to enjoy their meal. When we were finished, we went outside to see the fire trucks they had pulled out for the dinner to take place inside the fire station! That left two seats so others could enjoy. 😊

They are really big up close! I then took a picture of the town of Everson. The snowflake lights are up for the season. ❄️

It was a lovely evening filled with the love of Christ! We are blessed to be in this community and attending Valley Church!

Today was spent doing a little bit of shopping. Somehow after my shower while getting dressed, I threw my back out. 😏 At least this time I didn’t do it while sleeping, lol! Pushing the shopping cart and walking has helped some. Perhaps I’ll wake up tomorrow miraculously healed. 🙏

Our kitty Cyle decided to spend his Caturday under the Christmas tree sleeping.

Perhaps I can get it decorated now that I’m done with my bug! 😁
