Pets!…………My Actifit Report Card: November 18 2025
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Pets! A lot of us have them. They are an integral part of the family-so much so, they are often treated as if they’re our children, lol! I know our two furry felines-Cot and Cyle are! Cyle is our older son and Cot our youngest! Sounds crazy but most people probably do the same whether it’s a dog or a cat!
This little ball of fur is our oldest son’s kitty-Ember. He is ridiculously attached to him and you count yourself lucky if he will investigate you when in the house.
Of course, some of you are familiar with Phoenix! She’s our youngest son’s dog and can worm her way into your heart!
She will be headed our way Christmas-at least that’s the plan for now. We are hoping for a sleepover for her! We enjoy having her around. If that happens, our son, his wife and baby Olivia will be at our other son’s house during that time as they have more room than we do.
I’ve had a vast array of pets over the years-from pet mice, pet rats, a guinea pig, to 20+ cats all at one time, dogs, a goat and 3 horses! Oh yeah- a leopard gecko compliments of my youngest some years ago. You could say we have been zoo like, lol! 🤣
I can not imagine our home without the companionship of some type of furry pet! Yes, it can be devastating when they pass, but I would not miss the joy that each one has brought while in our life, for anything!
I am feeling much better today compared to yesterday. I didn’t go to ladies Bible study as I didn’t want to share. I am stocked up on cold meds for tomorrow’s workday. I’m past the contagious stage and unfortunately for me, there is no one at work who has my skill set, so to work I will go.
