Fire, Candles, And A Silly Kitty! 😸……..My Actifit Report Card: October 29 2025

Ahhhh….can’t you just feel the heat? ‘Tis the season in my neck of the woods for wood stoves with toasty fires inside. 😎 I much prefer the heat of a good fire as opposed to forced air furnaces or even mini splits. It’s just so much cozier and warm. A house without a wood stove is a house without it’s heart. At least that’s how I see it!

I also adore candlelight! Whether it’s the type from a real candle or a flickering LED candle (they’ve gotten much better at mimicking real candlelight) the fall and winter seasons just beg for this type of illumination! I burn both types as the real fire ones are the scented candles to throw seasonal scents into the atmosphere of the house.

I wish I could light/burn them at work, but the glow would be wasted under the fluorescent lighting. 😏

So, I just burn them at home!

Work was busy for me even though we had a last minute cancellation. I’ve received new frames from 3 vendors that need processing and displaying, so I worked hard today to get today’s work processed and done. That leaves the majority of my morning for the new frames. 👓

When I came home tonight, I made myself a coffee and during the process, walked into the living room to find this on the couch:

Seriously Cot?! One might think you think you’re human, lol! 🙀😹
