All Roads Lead………My Actifit Report Card: October 21 2025

….to ‘shrooms! 🍄‍🟫😁

Happy Tuesday to everyone out there! The morning had me headed to ladies Bible Study. It was a continuation of the book of James and was still matching hand in hand with my church’s sermons from the past two weeks. Kind of interesting given the fact that the church I attend and the church where the ladies Bible Study is held are too completely different churches and the ladies are not from my church as well. 🧐

After the Bible Study was finished, I headed to the library to drop off a book, to the post office to pick up the Clinic mail, and to the grocery store for a gallon of milk and a couple other items. Then it was onward home.

After lunch, I suggested that we head up for a hike. I hadn’t felt up to it the past couple of days and I felt pretty good today and thought the fresh air would do me good. So I called Jan and she came with.

I stumbled on some inky black mushrooms. They are edible and have a general shelf life if you will of about three weeks before they turn into an inky black mess. I don’t eat mushrooms as I don’t really care for the flavor, but I love to take their pictures! Enjoy the inky blacks!

As you can see from some of the pictures, the fall colors are starting to takeoff. We are lucky to be just high enough into the mountains, that the colors are not the sickly mustard yellow, but are of a brighter shade of yellow.

After the morning’s activities and the hike this afternoon, the day has not been overly exciting.

Tomorrow sees me headed to work with a busy day and a full schedule.
