Not A Cloud In The Sky! ………My Actifit Report Card: June 3 2025

Today was a stellar day weather wise! You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! The sky was clear; the sun was out; the temperature in the mid 60’s and with a light breeze blowing! Absolutely perfect!

My day began with ladies Bible study. It was a good study about trusting in the Lord.

Afterwards, I stopped by the post office to get the clinic’s mail and then I decided to finally go to the car wash. I’d been putting it off because of time constraints but also mostly because of rain. What finally pushed me to do it was the birdie who left two big splotches of birdie poo right in the middle where I see to drive! I had to wait for 3 cars before me but I got it done. 😁

We needed to run to Lynden on an errand, so afterwards, we stopped for afternoon coffees and then headed to Lynden City Park. It was cool and shady for most of the trail. Enjoy the eye candy!

We had stopped for @silvertop to take a photo. I happened to look up…….

There before me was a 50’ or so, cherry tree! 🍒
Where’s the ladder when you need it?! So, I began searching for a low hanging branch and sure enough, found one with a couple of ripe cherries on it! @silvertop pulled it down and I had my first cherry 🍒 of the season! On the return trip, we stopped to get a couple more and this young man asked if they were cherries. We snagged one for him as well. He said he hadn’t had a cherry in quite some time! Most of the cherries aren’t ripe just yet, but I suspect they will be within the week.

Just before returning to the car, I caught Mr. Squirrel through the pine tree, busily looking for supper.

That’s gonna be it for this Tuesday. Tomorrow is my Monday and it’s sure to be busy!
