A ‘Shroomy Day……My Actifit Report Card: August 26 2024

I woke up this morning sick! Massive headache, stuffiness and cold. I hate being sick! I guess I could have picked it up at work on Friday as we had a family hacking to the point the doc sent the daughter out of the exam room. (Why do people go places sick anyway? Not very thoughtful of them!🙄)

Needless to say, it’s not been a fun day. Phoenix has been great company on the couch though. She’s a great snuggler!

So, as I mentioned to someone yesterday, I have ‘shroom pictures from yesterday’s hike. Enjoy! 🍄‍🟫

They fascinate me with their ridges on the underbelly side. I never tire of looking at them!

I guess that’s gonna be it for now. I’m hoping this illness will be gone when I wake up in the morning.

I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling unwell! It sounds like you've had a rough time lately. It's frustrating when illness strikes, especially after such a stressful situation with your daughter’s exam. I agree, it's important for people to be more mindful of others when they're sick to prevent spreading germs. I hope you’re able to rest and recover quickly!

Thank you @cryptomother. It was however, a patient's daughter. We are often exposed to many sicknesses even though I work in an optometrists office. People still come sick to get their eye examined. I guess it just goes with the territory.

Thanks sis! I was sick last year in July with Covid, but prior to that, it was forever. I do have my kitties, my part time doggie and of course, my hubby! Although, he's giving me wide berth right now, lol!
