Monday……..My Actifit Report Card: April 15 2024

Lately it seems like I really need a vacation away from it all! I unfortunately don’t foresee that happening anytime soon. So unlike the folks on this plane……

I won’t be flying anywhere. I am prepping for a garden vacation of sorts. I am planning on beginning the journey this coming weekend. Today, Amazon delivered a raised garden bed that I will begin putting together on Saturday. If all goes well then Monday, I’m hoping to coerce @silvertop into helping me get a truckload of soil from the 3-P’s store locally. They have sand, gravel, mulch, soil and much more! Then, I’ll fill the garden bed.

I’ve got plants and seeds to plant as well as garlic, onion sets and some flowers. I invested in garden netting that uses hoops to hold it up, in order to keep the deer and other animals from eating them. The actual greenhouse has to wait-again. 🙄

Anyway, the idea is to take a garden vacation by working the soil, planting and nurturing. Something to do for enjoyment rather than obligation. The bonus will be the food it might produce.

I spent the day roasting 8 pounds of coffee for two customers. It smelled heavenly around here!

Then, when we sat down to create our posts, Cot was being a mischievous, carnivorous little kitty! He was determined to eat dad!

!LOL . A vacation sounds good right now! But two weeks from now, I am heading to LV from April 28 to May 2nd! We are having a reunion with my classmates from college.

A garden vacation sounds interesting. In my country people travel home to farm during the farming season, and it does feel like a vacation. Hope you are doing well 💝

I'm hoping it refreshes me. I will still have to go to work on my workdays, but the idea is to get outside and enjoy nature while planting and nurturing.
